[Plugin: WPaudio MP3 Player] Player does not work in Internet Explorer 9

I have had to make adjustments to get the player to work in Firefox and Chrome (for the play button to work).
However, this player will not work in Internet Explorer 9.
The “Play” button loads and when you click on play, the player remains idle. The count bar does not move and stays at zero “0:00.”
The help forum from the developer, Todd, is down and he has not posted on the forum here since March 2011.
Anyone have suggestions to get this to work?
