I value the information that the plugin provides but I can’t use it only because the dashboard menu is available to everyone. Is there a hack to change this so that the dashboard menu will display only for admins or users with a certain permission?

  • Yeah, same prob here! The normal users shouldn′t see the information who′s online. Only the administrators should be allowed to see that.
Hope to find a solution soon!

    Thanks!

The development version (2.81-alpha) now checks the ‘manage_options’ capability before adding the UserOnline admin menu.

If you want to show this info to end-users, you’ll just have to make a page that contains the [page_useronline] shortcode.

    Awesome! Thank you so much.

Author and contributors should be taken into account too. Some may want this info available only to admins.
