The Dashboard page (containing the shortcode [wpuf_dashboard]) has a comment section below the post status. It lists the post of the logged in user and below the list there is a comment section. Whatever commented in that comment section go straight to the comment section of recent post of that logged in user. I want to disable the comment section in the Dashboard page.

I tried by editing the page from wordpress dashboard and disabling comment for that page but no solution. Actually it has no comment section for logged out users; Only shows up when an user is logged in.
Please somebody help me to resolve this.

Update: Actually the comment section is not for recent post. It’s the comment section of the first post of a user that is published. No matter how many posts you have in the dashboard, the comment section redirects all comments to the first post ever published. Since the comment section in the dashboard is confusing and gives false impression, I want to disable this section. Looking for some assistance.
    Thanks.

apparently, the problem was with my theme, not with the plug in. I changed my theme and everything back to normal. Could disable the comment from wp dashboard.

The problem was only with the theme? Which theme were you using? Just to be clear, when you changed the theme, then disabling the comments from the WP admin worked, right?

Does anyone know the solution if you don’t change the theme?

The buddypress default theme. I changed it to buddypress corporate theme. After changing the theme I could disable the comment from the WP admin for that specific ‘Dashboard’ page without affecting other comments from other posts and pages.
