[Plugin: WP Updates Notifier] Email Update Notification

I’ve been searching for the functionality of this plugin for quite a while. Stupidly the word form “notifier” never occurred to me and I kept getting search results for out-dated plugins a Trac debate where they discuss the joys of keeping this obvious functionality out of WordPress itself.

So I am posting this message, first to thank Scott Cariss for making it available to us and second to add the word form “notification” in the event others are as near-sighted as I in the search terms.
