[Plugin: WP UI – Tabs, Accordions, Sliders] stop video playback for hidden accordion tabs

  • When embedding youtube videos with autoplay enabled in accordion tabs I’ve found browsers behavior vary regarding the the video playback state for hidden tabs.

    FF works like a dream, whereupon only the video of the active tab plays (other browsers play them all at once)
    and when selecting a new tab, the video of the now inactive tab simply stops playing and the newly activated one starts playing.

    Is there a way to apply this behavior for all browsers?

  • I second this feature.
    On IE and FF version 13 (latest), when I embed live streaming videos on different tabs and once the video loads, it doesn’t stop even if I move on to the next tab. So that when I click on 5 tabs, all 5 videos play at the same time.
