[Plugin: WP UI – Tabs, Accordions, Sliders] Recent Post

I have a client who wants to have 3 different tabs in a widget. Each tab has one recent post from a separate category (ie: Tab1/recent post from category 1, Tab2/recent post from cat 2, Tab 3/recent post from cat 3, so on and so on). Is this possible to do with shortcodes where recent posts are automatically pulled into the tabs when the client adds a new post? Right now, to my knowledge, shortcode like [wptabtitle post=”1″]Tab 1[/wptabtitle] which will pull post ID 1, but this is not what I want. And also, I don’t want to list the recent post, but display the actual post itself.
