[Plugin: WP UI – Tabs, Accordions, Sliders] New user and questions

Sorry to be of nuisance: I am very new at WordPress. Installed the plugin and want the tab function to work.
following the instructions to the letter I cannot get it to work, besides, a slider on the same page stopped working after installing and activating the plugin. Can anyone help?
