[Plugin: wp-Typography] Disable Plugin for Android Browser

  • Hi,

    first of all, thanks for the great Plugin, which just simply demonstrates where browsers in the future should head in regards to typography.

    Anyway: It is clear that the plugin will not show the expected results on all browsers, not just the old ones but also newer, namely the Android Browser which can be found on many mobile devices today.

    Is there a way to prevent the usage of this plugin on certain browsers and to include such a function in the backend (or hack it myself into the code)?

    Any hints are welcome,

  • Now, I am not the author of this plugin, just a user who enjoy using it, but here’s a few questions to see if we can work this out together, as it appears to be abandoned.

    What are the issues on Android Browser?

    There is, as far as I know, no way to reliably prevent the usage of the plugin on certain browsers, but there might be ways to use javascript to migate the issues.
