Tritvum, I don’t know how to help you without you providing more details Please answe:

    1. Did you download to your local machine and then upload to your server? or Did you install via the wp admin pages? Did you try deleting the directory on the server and re-installing?
    2. What specific error messages are you seeing? (copy / paste then in a reply)
    3. Is there anything unique about your installation? (MU or windows server or ???)

I am having the same exact issue. Just tried to install it via the built-in plugin installer. Running WP 3.3.2. The exact error message is “The plugin does not have a valid header.” which pops up after clicking Activate.

However, after typing the above… I just went back and clicked Activate again and this time it worked. LOL! So, ignore my problem, but maybe check it out as a possible bug? ??

When I installed through the WP dashboard I got the “doesn’t have valid header” error. When I downloaded, extracted and uploaded the installation went fine.

I don’t control the internal dashboard installer. I’ll see how to report the defect to wordpress.

The issue persists.. Invalid header error happens when we install it from within wordpress admin.

In version 3.10, I have reduced the size of the plugin considerably (by no longer including PSD versions of the Social Buttons.) That should solve the download issue.
