[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Public table download link

  • Hi there,

    I want to put a .csv download link for one table on my website but I don’t want to use the flash based “TableTools functions” (Copy to Clipboard, Save to CSV, Save to XLS, Print Table).

    Is there a shortcut for each table to offer a .cvs (or other formats) download link?

    Any suggestions how to do this?

    Hi Thorleif,

    thanks for your question.

    Unfortunately, there is no other automatic possibility to download a table besides using the TableTools functionality.

    If your tables do not change too frequently, it might be enough to simply manually export the table to CSV, upload the file to your server and create a link below the table, maybe?

    Hi,

    no problem, you are welcome.

    To be honest though, I don’t really think that something like this will be implemented in the future. After all, there’s a nice solution already, with TableTools.
