    Hi Tobias,

    I need a plugin to create a menu plan.
    The idea is to do it on a table and I think your plugin is fantastic.
    The table import data from entries in a specific category and with a specific custom fileds… all doable.
    But I wish a seven column days and show the present day in the middle of the table.
    Can you help me? Should I make a donation to create this menu plan plugin? or simply ?should I pay for the creation of this?

    Hi,

    thanks for your request.

    From what you are describing, a table indeed would be the correct thing to use for the layout of your food plan. However, I don’t believe that my plugin would be the perfect fit. There are certainly things that it can be used for, however, what you need is a dynamic changing of the data in the table. This is something, for which the plugin was not designed for and at which it is not aimed. The goal of the plugin is to take static content, make that editable and finally display it. Once you want a dynamic component (like a “rotation” of the data based on the day of the week), that scope is left.

    You should probably try to find a custom implementation of a database solution. I.e. your menus/days should be stored in a database, and then you have a script that pulls out the correct data for the current day/week.
