  • Is this because the table objects within the text editor and WP-Table Reloaded have the same name?

    Hi,

what do you mean? The problem with TinyMCE or the fact that both buttons are disabled by the code above?

    Regards,
    Tobias

You stated: “The text editor actually also has the table button, but the code above will remove that as well. I don’t see a solution to keep it there, while removing it from TinyMCE at this time. Sorry :-(“

I think I did not quite understand that. Why are you unable to create a custom WP-Table Reloaded button within TinyMCE? Your answer will help me to better understand why you can not have both, the TinyMCE packaged table and a custom WP-Table icon.

    Hi,

WP-Table Reloaded adds to buttons to the WordPress editor: One for TinyMCE, and one for the “HTML editor”. Both use a different JavaScript code for initialisation, but this code is added to the page at the same time, and can not easily be invoked separately at this time.
The code for TinyMCE causes trouble at the moment, so it would be good to just remove that initialization code – which as just mentioned is not easily possible though ?? It is only possible to deactivate both buttons at the same time, with the code from above.

So, until I have this fixed in a future update, the best choice is to disable the buttons and just use the Shortcodes manually.

    Regards,
    Tobias
