• Looking for a way to fill in the import table defaults, so I don’t have to go through the process of selecting import –> format –> table –> url…

I always bring in the same table from the same url in the same format.

Is there a shortcode that would pass the variables upon page load? Or in the very least a way to get those values into the code?

    Great Plug-In!

  • Hi,

    thanks for the question.

Unfortunately I don’t see an easy possibility for this at the moment, sorry ?? The defaults are hard-coded in the source code.

One possibility might be to develop a small JavaScript that gets loaded into the admin page and that will set the input fields to new values.
Should be pretty straigt-forward with some jQuery code.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Thanks for the reply! I went the source code route.

/views/views-import.php for most of them, and then a quick adjustment to the import.class.php

    a dirty solution but simple.

    Hi,

ok ?? That’s also possible of course. Remember that you will have to re-do your changes after each upgrade of the plugin!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
