[Plugin: WP Survey And Quiz Tool] No Acces for Admin after activation

  • Hi
    I found a bug while trying to install WP Survey And Quiz Tool.
    After activation I can see that I have no access to the wp-admin at all.

    Any suggestions?

    Zygfryd, when a plugin causes a problem like that the easiest solution is to use FTP or whatever file management tools your host provides and delete just that one plugin directory.

    Just be careful to only delete that one in wp-content/plugins/new-plugin-name (I don’t have access to see which directory name that plugin uses right now).

    Yes I know that Jan ?? but the issue is to make the plugin work…

    Ah! I thought your site was unmanageable! A totally different problem. ??

    Aside from checking your server’s error_log file not much advice I can offer from a train.

    Unfortunately Apache’s error_log file showes no errors…

    Apologies for the length of time it has taken for me to respond to you. I have been out of office for a while now.

    It looks like this is a capabilities issues that has arisen. It is only affecting you which is very strange. I am looking into this now. You may have to manually edit the database to give yourself the correct capability. I will respond shortly with a fix.

    Edit: What version of WPSQT are you trying to run? Does that problem persist with the latest version?

    I confirm the bug exists in the newest version.

    Righty ho, I’ll dig a little deeper. Can you edit your wp-config file and change the line that says WP_DEBUG, false to true please. Then reload the admin page and tell me if there are any errors.

    Hi Ollie,

    I am facing some problem in using the WPSQT plugin. I have applied it on my website https://www.turntechie.com for showing a quiz but it is not giving “Take details page” before the starting of quiz, also I am not able to use its chart feature.

    Please help me, I am in big trouble.:-)
