[Plugin: WP Super Popup] use as pop up on click or hover

this is a great plugin and the pop up looks really good. is there a way to patch the module so it operates when someone clicks on a link (or hovers over on) rather than it being an auto popup?
It would be a great way to present a google map. I’m using simple pop up at the moment but it does not look so good.
