[Plugin: WP Super Cache] WP_SuperCache problem with ShareDaddy & ShareandFollow

    Something is weird here…. I just upgraded to WP SuperCache 9.9.7, and now all of my graphics are not showing up with WP Super Cache enabled.

    My blog is setup in a subdirectory (https://www.schollnick.net/wordpress), and it appears from the source of the page, that the graphics are now attempting to be served from an “root level” installation of wordpress (eg “/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/space1999.jpg”).

    If I disabled SuperCache, everything is fine. I have removed the supercache code from htaccess, and reconfigured. This is happening in all modes of caching, mod_rewrite, php, and legacy mode.

    I am assuming a bug has been introduced to wp super cache….? Suggestions? Workarounds?

  • Odd, did you enable CDN support? On my test site images show up ok.

    No… I didn’t enable CDN support, but I had been trying to use OSCDNL linker earlier…

    So I think the question becomes, how do I ensure it’s disabled?

    Make sure the url on the CDN tab is the same as your homepage url.

    That was it…

    A few suggestions:

    1) When WP Super Cache is enabled, clear the cache, or perform some sort of sanity check on the cached data. I had two posts “disappear” since they were created while the cache was disabled. A quick clearing of the cache resolved this…

    2) If the CDN is empty, then substitude the host URL… Or clarify the wording on the page, it says “Offsite URL”, which in my case didn’t apply…

    3) Alternatively, add a “Enable CDN” checkbox & logic.
