• Just installed Super Cache on my site. Under Mod Rewrite Rules, the text info says I need to modify my .htaccess file.

I don’t have an .htaccess file. But just the same, when I go to ismysiteworking.com, I am told Super Cache is active on my site.

Am I OK, or do I need to create a .htaccess file (never knew i needed one before, and would rather not have one if I don’t need it.) Thanks — Paul

    Interesting.

So here on the forum for the WP Super Cache plugin, the recommendation is NOT TO USE the Super Cache plugin . . . with WP.

I have seen stranger things, I guess.

pvguernsey – I’ll recommend you do use it! It does work on Blue Host AFAIR and most hosting companies recommend you use it.

    Donncha,

I am using it, after spending a little time making it happy to be with me. Seems to be working fine.

I actually called Bluehost to find out if they had a problem with it, and the tech guy said no.

    Now I just need the traffic . . . .

    Thanks — Paul
