[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Is there a way to verify plugin is working properly?

  • Hi – I have been using this plugin for a while and loving it. When WP went above 3 the plugin didn’t seem to be caching pages as well. My cached page count went from many that changed all of the time and now it only ever reads 6. I completely uninstalled the plugin and then added it again and reactivated but still only max out to 6 pages cached. The blog receives over 3.5K unique visits a day so there is no way it is only caching 6 pages at a time.

  • Use the cache tester, and make sure you click the “Update stats” link as they don’t update automatically now. There’s a notice to that effect above the stats.

    View the source of your page and read what it says on the bottom of the screen. You will see teh date that page was cached and if its compressed.. Check it several times a day and you should be able to tell what its doing. And what page is being served up to you.
