I have a site which looks like popURLs or ALLTOP. The only thing it has, is 6-7 pages, which each “present” the latest posts from 20-30 feeds.

Without caching, the site is slow as it loads all the RSS feeds one by one. So caching it, is a solution from heaven.

However, for as far as I understand WP Super Cache is only generating a cached page if a (non logged in) user visits a page. If no user visits page xyz for <refresh period>, then the page expires and no cache is created until a user visits page xyz.

I would like Super Cache (or any other cache) to refresh itself every 15 minutes (so it takes the latest posts for each of the feeds) and generates the HTML version. In other words: force a cache regeneration each time a page expires.

Does that make sense? can that be done?

    thanks

    Peter
