• I was wonderign if there is and easy way (maybe using a plugin for this plugin) to have the old cache entry delete made not on all the full list of expired entries but doing it on “categories” based on the type of page cached. I.e.:

the expire purge is runned every 300 second but then it delete the categories pages only if older tna X seconds (es. 1200 sec) the home page only if older than 300 seconds the single post page only f older than 3600 seconds… etc …
I’m asking this caus on alarge series of a nanoplublisihing network with old WP and old WP-supercache plugin they chaged it to no do expire deletion and they do it this way through a crontab batch process, cause they experiencede bad performances on I/O.

Would be nice to have a time expiration time for varieos type of pages like we can selectively do not cache some type of pages (ex. the pages)

How can be done this and if not easily would you please think about this feature and maybe have it implemented in the future, I think this could allow some better performances trimming the expire time more precisely.

Thank for you answer and greetings.
