i have moved one site from dreamhost to bluehost, everything went fine, execpt that whenever i try to activate wp-super cache it breaks access to all the other plugins… i get a blank page on wp-admin/plugins.php

any ideas of what could be going on? i have already tried by erasing all of the files created by on wp-contents, to no use…

bluehost told me that there is no known issue with this plugin and they hosting…

    thanks

  • Paths probably changed. You can either change the path in wp-content/advanced-cache.php to your wp-cache-phase1.php or uninstall it completely and install again.

If the uninstall script doesn’t work, use the “If all else fails” instructions.

donncha, thanks, i tought that was it…

problem is, i have completely uninstall it following “if all else fails” instructions, and i couldn’t intall it again…

is wp super cache writing this path somewhere on my db? maybe i have to edit (or erase) that… wp-options?

    thanks

It’s not in the db. If you followed the “if all else fails” instructions that should have got rid of all the files the plugin created and modified. Can you double check them?

    done, now it is working…

i guess i was having some issues with wp-spam free, cause i couldn’t reinstall it…

    thanks!

Had this same problem with WP Super Cache + WP Spam Free. Removed WP Spam Free and all is well.
