• i have problem with wp-super-cache lately. apart from still not deleting expired files, it started to mix cached pages of categories lately. the site in question is https://www.rlslog.net

    example:

https://www.rlslog.net/category/movies/ – returns cached version of “Cam” subcategory, instead of “Movies” category

https://www.rlslog.net/category/movies/dvdrip/ – returns cached version of “Music” category, instead of “DVDRiP” subcategory

    – and so on…

this makes the site basically unusable for visitors and i consider it an extremely serious bug which never happened before. i am using the latest version of wp-super-cache.

any quick help would be appreciated.

i manually removed all cached and supecached files, delete all files in wp-content, uninstalled the plugin, removed settings from wp-config.php and then installed the plugin again. it seems to work now. will have to see about deleting expired files though.

ok so it didnt help after all, the same problem is back there again. would appreciate some feedback.

Dev, if it helps I’ve just checked your site and it seems to be working OK. Your first link above takes me to a page with the first post titled “The Spirit CAM XviD-GYPSYHUNTER” and the second takes me to “Franz Ferdinand – Tonight Franz Ferdinand (2009)”.

All the posts returned in first page appear in both the Cam and Movies categories – could this be causing any confusion?

I’ve just installed super cache today so would be very interested in hearing if it is unreliable.

stevegepa, that’s exactly the problem, the first link shouldn’t take you to Cam category, and the second shouldn’t take you to albums, but movies!

once again: https://www.rlslog.net/category/movies/dvdrip/ returns posts like this

“Posted on 10.01.2009 at 22:33 in Albums, Music by Martin “

it should say “in Movies, DVDRiP”.

if i disable wp-super-cache, it works just fine…

    I also have this problem.

upgraded to 0.8.9 and nothing changed. this sucks.

I am having weird problems with super cache lately too, at first I thought it was my brief experiment with lockdown but now I wonder if it started when the plugin offered to auto-upgrade a few weeks ago. Did you upgrade your version?

    no, i updated it manually
