[Plugin: WP Splash Image] Good Idea – Not Quite Implemented

Ahoy mate…brilliantly fast response!

It works MUCH better now, the timer is great as is the colour picker background (very cool function).

Only suggestion – if possible – for the “close” option, can ye make it so clicking anywhere on the whole graphic closes it? The close button is impossible to see (I found it by accident).

A note – if the “test” option is checked, the splash graphic appears static at the bottom of every page…tried on a couple of themses including new 3.0 default – same result.

Otherwise, works well…once on entering the site, then no more…that could be optional using the above test mode, but probably annoying after a while <LOL>

I’ve try the theme “Twenty Ten 1.0” in test mode but it’s OK for me …

Having problems here.
Selvmade theme, having WP 3.0 and SPLASH 0.8.

But no splash image shows up when i try to go in to my site?

Checked the “Activated” box and have a .jpg picture from my own blog (wp-content ………..jpg) … ?

doesnt work. why?

Do you see the background color appear in your blog ?

Try with an absolute URL like :
https://www.abcgs.fr/wp-content/gallery/affiches/afficheboxe_2304201021.jpg

And blank start and end date and put 0 (or nothing) for the display time.

this plugin is great and it does work,

but when implemented with Noctic theme, jquery sliders seems to be affected and wont work…

but im still looking for alternatives…

would really love to use this plug-in for my website (wordpress 3.0, contemporaryartexchange.org) but the splash comes up when opening any new entry/page on the blog, not just ONCE as described.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Everything is working for me except there is a strange bug where the splash image is off-center on the screen. It isn’t always off-center though. It seems to move off center when you increase the window width– it aligns on the right side of the screen and even goes offscreen partially.

I would love to use this plugin but I can’t get it to work on my site at all.

I followed the three steps – clicked activate, entered the youtube code and left the rest blank.

I’m using WP 3.0.1, any idea why this won’t work for me? It is the perfect plugin and I really want to use it.

This plugin is not working on my site either.

It just sits at the bottom of the page. It does not pop up to cover the screen.
