    I agree and just posted on this today. Not sure if Alex will take any action though. When he created the wp-smushit/nextgen-gallery integration he didn’t created a script that would ‘smush’ all the previously existing images in nextgen-gallery.

    That means only new images imported into Nextgen get ‘smushed’.
