• Installed SmushIt two days ago and have been working to Smush 3600+ photos in media library. All went well thru page 70, then started getting error message “could not find” for all photos. Permissions on the folders in my wp-content/uploads structure are fine. Went to the Yahoo uploader page (https://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/) and manually typed in the url to one of the photos that could not be found and it worked just fine. Any idea what’s up with this?

  • I’m currently getting the same error. It just stopped working today.

    Nothing?

It’s working again. What is the voodoo magic?

I have the same problem, but this days the problem was replaced with “No savings”

This is voodoo for sure ??

“No savings” means the image was previously “smushed” through smush.it or some other process. That’s a valid message.

Hmm…Yes…that images was smushed already, I forgot, the others images still getting the same “could not find”.

A thing I’m sure I hate: WHEN A DEVELOPER/SCRIPT OWNER ABANDONATE HIS SCRIPT WHEN THE SCRIPT IS NOT WORKING !

    Thanks for help john-michael

Thanks for the report. I’m looking into this.

@demlasjr: the source code is here: https://svn.wp-plugins.org/wp-smushit

If you’re upset about the update frequency of this free plugin, feel free to take time away from your paying job, roll up your sleeves and give something back to the community.

    @ Alex Dunae

I didn’t say anything about the frequency of updates. Please ensure you’re pointing your snarky remarks to the correct person next time.

Ugh… very sorry john-michael. I should have read that thread more careful. My apologies.

lol….I said something similar about that, but not for the frequency of the update, but only because this plugin looked like abandoned for at least 2 months. No need to be updated, but a last some advice from developers. BTW…welcome back and thanks for your final answer.
