I have WordPress setup so that users must login to view the my blog. Can Slimstat track readers by their login credentials? Tracking IPs is of limited effectiveness because we’re on a corporate intranet and everyone’s IP address changes on a daily basis.
I’m currently using Statpress for my analytics, but the project is dead so I am considering making a change.

    Hi there

Wp SlimStat tracks logged in users and people who leave a comment as “known visitors”, by recording not only their ip address, but also their username. So, to answer your question, yes, it does what you need.

A vote for my plugin would be a nice way to say thank you.

    Cheers
    Camu

First of all, thanks for this great plugin!
Question: I see visitors names differently. For example I have a user called paul (username) but sometimes I see “Hannie en Paul”. It is NOT the first name as used in WordPress user list.
However, it is the name as registered in my Contacts on Mac. Does Slimstat use Contacts on a Mac?

No, it doesn’t use Contacts on a Mac, sorry.
