I’m having difficulties with making a price variation

Example:

var1=”Size|1/4kg|2kg|3kg”

The recommended code to make price variation is as follows:

var1=”Size|1/4kg:15|2kg:30|3kg:40″

This however doesn’t update correctly, Assistance needed please.
