    The current version should show captions. You can add/edit captions via the WP media manager.

    Just getting back to this. From what I can see, the enlarged image displays the pictures “title” not the “caption”. Any text in the caption field in image manager is not displayed. For most uses this is probably ok if the captions don’t get too lengthy – thanks again, donation on the way!

    Great plugin. Would love the “caption” to work as well. This helps to make customization better too as you can make captions appear upon image hover, while the title still remains.

    I am not able to see the captions either.
    When I try to add %caption% to the basic settings, it gets transformed into “ption%”
