TinyMCE seems to break the URL you use in the “Text to replace blocked content”.

For instance, using the Login form, I want to add a “Register” link below it.

Any type of url (absolute or relative), like:
    https://www.the_site.com/wp-login.php?action=register
    or
    /wp-login.php?action=register

    gets automatically converted to:
    ../wp-login.php?action=register

It breaks my register link, as the pages I use it on are often 2 or 3 levels deep, resulting in a page not found.

    1) Does it need tweaking in the TinyMCE part in wp-includes, or in the plugin itself to be fixed?
    2) WHY using TinyMCE / visual editor, instead of having a simple HTML editor by default with less eye candy but also less tinkering with your urls and code, and eventually providing the visual editor as an option?
