[Plugin: WP-PostViews] Views Sidebar Widget not working after upgrade

I had an old website which I had not actively maintained or upgraded for several years. It was on wordpress 2.5.1 when I checked today. It was using several plugins including GamerZ/Lester Chan’s WP Postviews and WP Ratings plugins. I upgraded the website to WordPress 3.2.1 today and also upgraded all the plugins. But after upgrading the wordpress site, the WP Postviews sidebar widget named “Views” is not working anymore. When I use it then it shows blank. In the theme I also used to use manual coding as I do not think there was such an extensive widget for the plugin in those days. But even the manual php code as mentioned in usage is not working. I had some posts upto about 400K views and have always used the most viewed posts in the sidebar. So, I would also like to use it now. Is there any way to fix the Views widget so that it works properly in the sidebar. Any idea why it is happening?
