    Dear Andrew:

The VPS hosting mentioned on the linked blog refers to WP MU setup, not to Piwik or WP-Piwik. If your WP MU works fine, don’t worry about this. (This article is confusing, e.g. it shows WP-Piwik screenshots and describes WP-Piwik, but it links to another plugin called Piwik Analytics.)

Please consider (especially regarding your intention to donate – Danke sehr!) WP-Piwik is NOT Piwik – and WP-Piwik is not made by the Piwik-Team. If you like to donate to the Piwik team, please visit https://piwik.org/contribute/. These are the guys who made the great Piwik tracking tool. If you like to donate to me (I made the WordPress plugin WP-Piwik which just adds some stats and the tracking code to WordPress), have a look at the plugins’ settings page (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> WP-Piwik). There is a colored box with more information.

    Best regards from Aachen!

    André

    Dear Andre:

    Gruss Gott.

I’ve just donated to https://piwik.org/contribute/ via Paypal. It is a good analytics program. Thanks for the info.

    Andrew
