[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Upload feature

    Great plugin. I’m a complete novice and this has made the photo galleries actually doable.

    I’m building a site for my son’s cub scout pack and I’m trying to figure out if the plugin will let me give visitors to the site the ability to upload pictures to a gallery for “approval” by an administrator before they are visible to everyone in the gallery.

    I played with the settings under the “Access and Security” section but couldn’t get this to work unless I was logged in as the admin. Any advice?

    Perseverance pays off. I got the upload piece working and am now just looking for a way to keep the photos from being visible until they’re “approved/published” by the moderator.

    Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

    If you check Table VII-B3, the photos will get the satus ‘pending'(moderation) on upload IF the uploader is NOT admin.

    The pending photos are visible on the frontend by the uploader only (and admin).

    The admin or anyone who has album admin access can change the status to Publish (or even Featured) on the album admin -> manage p[hotos screen.
