[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Thumbnail mouseover should dismiss on MouseOut

I tried that but could not yet find a way that works on all browsers.
I will get into this again.

There is only still one problem:

Although i do a dismiss on mouseout of the div that surrounds the thumbnail and the text below it, this function acts as if it were a mouseout from the thumbnail. This means that when there is a link in the description, you will not be able to click on it as the popup is gone already. I remember that this was the original reason i did not implement this. (Right clicking on the popup thumbnail causes a ‘popdown’).

Should i build in a timedelay before the mouseout popdown occurs?

I would not mind that the link in a description does not work under the thumbnail. In my case it is meant to be a link in de full-size description. For the full info one should go to the FS-photo.

I can not speak for others but for me a time-delay would perhaps offer a compromise but also make it more complex, with a rather “strange” parameter……
… now I think about this: a non-clickable thumbnail-link would be a stimulants to see the full size picture…..

Yes, a timedelay will be confusing.

A link from thumbnail to slideshow(fullsize image) is kind of standard, i was just thinking about the textual link that might be in the description under the thumbnail (if on).

So i agree if you ment: .. now I think about this: a non-clickable thumbnail-text-link would be a stimulants to see the full size picture….. Then they click on thye thumbnail image, getting the fullsize where the ‘promised’ textlink works.

I’ll do it this way.
