[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Site Transfer – where's my albums?!

    Hi, I’ve transferred a domain, https://www.memocuba.org, to a new host. I’ve moved the wp-content over and the database. Everything seems to be working fine except that my photo albums are completely missing! If you click the photo gallery you’ll see nothing is there. And there is nothing in the Admin Albums area either. I would like to know how I can transfer my albums from my old server to my new server. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Did you transfer the db tables:
    wp_wppa_albums
    wp_wppa_photos
    wp_wppa_ratings
    wp_wppa_comments
    wp_wppa_iptc
    wp_wppa_exif

    and the directories:
    wp-content/uploads/wppa
    wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs
    ??

    You can see the expected names and locations in Table XII of the Photo Albums -> Settings admin page

    If you still have problems, do the following:

    1. Delete all the albums in the new site.

    2. In the old site: go to Photo Albums -> Export Photos.
    3. Export all albums, preferably one by one. This creates zipfiles for each album if Zip is enabled in your php. Otherwise you gat a bunch of files (including .amf and .pmf files).
    4. Transport ALL the files from your depot directory (See Table XII where that is if you did not know that already) to your depot dir on the new site.
    5. On the new site, go to Photo Albums -> Import photos, and Import (will take 2 passes). Photos, names, descriptions and even the album and photo numbers will stay intact. You may loose IPTC and EXIF data if the photos were initially downsized on the old system.
    You will also loose comments and voting data.
