[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Question about SlideShow widget not linking to image

  • Hey Opa,

    Thank you once more for the awesome plugin.

    Do you know why I might be having problems getting the slideshow widget to not link to a gallery? Right now I have the picture of the day widget and the slideshow widget up and set up identically in tables VI 4a,b,c and VI 5a,b,c (the full-sized photo displayed in the correct gallery. The PoTD works exactly like intended and the Slideshow won’t link at all (the cursor doesn’t even change when mousing over. Strangely they are linking to the same gallery so I am hoping it has nothing to do with the setup.

    Uncheck Table II-19.

    The Big Browse Buttons do the following:
    1. clicking on the left half of the picture goes to previous photo (if the slideshow doen NOT run), and right half: next.
    2. They prevent rightclick and copy/download the image.
    3. They cover up any link.

    So if you uncheck the BBB’s it will work.

    Dang it – I wish there was a way to disable the Big Buttons on just the widgets. I only realized recently the widgets are really all part of the clever scripting language you have going for WPPA gallery.

    Oh well – I love the Big Buttons during regular gallery browsing too much to lose them!
