I’m having some problems with the plugin, which I think works great — except I can’t see any uploaded images.

Here’s what happens: I can create an album, and successfully upload files to it. However, I get a broken image link for every photo, and every thumbnail, both in the admin panel and in the public site. However, when I go into the uploads/wppa/ folder, I can see all the files (1.JPG, 2.JPG, etc.), and can see the files in the /thumbs/ folder as well.

If I try to view just the picture (https://www.site.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/1.JPG), the file is not found. But, the file is actually there. If I manually upload a file to that folder via FTP, I have the same problem; the URL doesn’t resolve (not found). It also doesn’t show up if moved to the /uploads/ folder, up one level. BUT, it *does* show if moved up to the /wp-content/ directory.

Permissions on all folders (uploads-wppa-thumbs) have been set to 777, to no avail. I’m officially stumped. Any ideas?

*EDIT* I resolved this by deleting the folders in question, of which the “uploads” directory contained an .htaccess file (which I didn’t look at before deleting). I manually created the folders again, set them to 777, and uploads work. Even though I answered my own question before I posted it, wanted to leave this as a resolution for others potentially running into the problem.
