[Plugin : WP-Paginate] error 404? (not found) on category specific pages

    Hello,

    I’m in desperate need to identify why WP-Paginate works on my home page but not on my category pages. Based on what I’ve read so far, I believe it’s a 404 error and could be caused by custom querys??? I really don’t know.

    Hi – I have the exact same issue, the pagination does not work on category pages.

    Except for the first. when next and 2,3 etc are clicked, It just re-directs to the 404 page. I also found, changing the plug-in for pagnavi has the same issue.

    using “posts_per_page” will having a conflict in category page. you can only use it once in homepage, but when you use it again in category page it will bring you to 404 page. so avoid using this e.g posts_per_page=5

    i solved my problem by this.
