[Plugin: WP-PageNavi] force wp-navi to use parent category

  • Hi!

    I have a few child categories that I access directly from mysite.com/child-category/ and I have a file category-child.php on my theme. And it’s working. But when wp-navi creates the pagination it doesn’t work.

    mysite.com/child-category/page/2 = 404
    mysite.com/parent-category/child-category/page/2 = OK

    Is there a way to force wp-navi to create the pagination links with the parent category as well?

    webserver is nginx
