[Plugin: WP Page Numbers] not working on category-ID.php

    the plugin is working on category.php, when using <?php if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?> but on category-ID.php when using <?php query_posts(‘showposts=8&cat=ID’); ?><?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> it’s not working.
    I don’t know how to fix this, I read the previous topic, but I don’t understand if that’s the solution.
