[Plugin: WP Online Store] encrypted links for immediate downloads?

  • I’m looking at ecommerce options and found WP Online Store, which looks interesting because my hosting provider already offers osCommerce.

    It’s very important to me to that a buyer be able to download a digital product (ebook) immediately after payment. Example: Once payment is completed they’ll be returned to a Thank You page where they will get an encrypted link to download immediately, but they’ll also get an email sent with the link.

    Is this capability built-in to WP Online Store?

    yes digital products are a standard andn integral part / feature of our plugin.

    could you explain what your mean by “encrypted” links?

    What I meant is that when the customer purchases a digital product (in this case an eBook or PDF), as soon as the payment is complete I would like them to return to a page that has the download link immediately available. Hopefully they will also get the link in a follow-on email, but it’s important to me that both links be encrypted so that they buyer never knows the actual location or link to a product.

    gotcha.

    yes the actual URL of the link is hidden. I believe it shows “click here to download your product” (can also be changed)
