[Plugin: WP Online Store Beta (osCommerce)] usage?

  • I went to the plug in site and have been through the settings, not finding anything on how to use. Just basic usage, like adding variations. I’m not sure what is meant by “Value Price” and “Prefix”. I already added the price of the item when I created it as a product, is the “Valuse Price” different from that? I assume the prefix is to add or subtract dollar amounts, but when I try to use it I get 0.00 for the total in the cart.

    Hi Deep.

    Documentation is coming. But as we just stepped out of beta 2 days ago, we hadn’t finish docs and videos yet as during beta things are constantly changing.

    But they are underway now.

    Regarding “Value price” what that is used for is if you have say T-shirts and you have added the standard price on the product page, BUT you want to charge $2 more for XXL shirts.. you put $2 in the value price for the size attribute XXL (XXL being the value.

    Thanks, I beleive I was putting the price differences for variations in the prefix feild, probably explains the 0.00. I’ll try it again.

    Will it be (or may be it already is) possible to have the store layout modules “widgetized”? Meaning, having the ability to place them as the usual WP widgets in the template’s sidebars.

    not right now vital.

    We are still polishing the main integration between the 2 systems. osCommerce doesn’t (yet) support widgets etc. BUT we have discussed it as an option for our plugin and are activly looking into the option.

    Hi I’m trying to sell photo prints on my website. Is there anyway i can remove the prices from the website but still keep the prices in the attributes. For example when you click on a product it doesn’t display the price until you select the attributes. Is there any way of doing this or do I have to keep the price display $0.00 at the top right?
