[Plugin: wp-o-matic] Menu items being deleted

  • Was wondering is someone could assist with this issue. Been having a problem with menu items disappearing seemingly at random intervals. Thought it might be a template issue at first, but I’ve tried a couple and am running one now that’s WordPress 3 compliant – still happening.

    I’ve noticed though that the disappearing menu items seem to concide with the wp-o-matic plugin processing campaigns – any time it adds new posts menu items disappear. And I don’t mean they become invisible – when I go to the Menu options under appearance they’ve actually been deleted!

    How can a plugin have this kind of effect on another part of the site? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ok, I’ve now realised it’s not specifically a wp-o-matic problem, as it occurs when I manually post stuff as well. For some reason though it doesn’t wipe out external link items – just those going to categories and pages, so I’m using this as a crude workaround just now.

    If anybody knows anything else about this bug please let me know.

    I’m having the same problem – it occurs when a plugin creates a post or I manually create a post. The weird thing is that it only deletes menu items from one of my menus (I’ve got three) and it doesn’t remove all of them, only the ones after the third menu item.

    Very odd and very frustrating trying to debug it.
