[Plugin: WP Maintenance Mode] Contact Form 7 – Working or not?

I’m slightly frustrated as I just spent the afternoon migrating from a different maintenance plugin to this in the hope that Contact Form Seven would be compatible (as mentioned on the plugin page). Now after piecing it all together I discover that this isn’t the case. Can the author please explain why it states on the plugin page how easy this is but then in the forum that it is in fact not working. Please excuse me if I’m wrong about this but it’s late in the day and I thought I’d have some good news for my client.
