[Plugin: WP Mailto Links] mailto links don't work

    Hello, I have had the most success with this plugin. It converts both mailto and plain text email address to javascript. Unfortunately, clicking on the generated mailto link does nothing. Expected behaviour is to open local mail client.

    I’m running a clean WP 3.4.1 install + twenty eleven theme. No other plugins or theme mods.

    Thanks for a near perfect plugin. Hopefully the dead link issue can be resolved.

  • Obscured mailto: links worked great in Chrome but unfortunately do not work in FF.

    Problem could be solved in the new version of the plugin. When it still still occurs, please send me some more details.

    I’m experiencing the same issue. It only occurs when “Protect mailto links against spambots” is checked in the settings. No javascript errors in console or php errors.

    Update: It’s opening my mail client just fine. I honestly was expecting a different result other than having the link open my mail client.
