I set up my WP ScrollPane settings like this..

    https://jing.videvent.com/2011-04-01_1613.png

And then I created a WP page, and marked up the code like this..

Id usu everti legimus patrioque. Eu iisque albucius explicari ius. Ad clita molestiae pri, urbanitas assentior signiferumque mel id, vis pertinax sapientem hendrerit in. At odio tantas meliore ius, maluisset persecuti per eu.
Eu vix laudem incorrupte. At facilis blandit contentiones vim, aeque tincidunt an pri. Erant veniam intellegebat cu vix, sea affert vocent aeterno ut, error mandamus necessitatibus ad pro. Equidem corrumpit maiestatis pro ne, et iriure labores convenire eum. Vitae doctus aliquando id vis, nam no veniam alienum singulis. Et consul possit utroque qui.
Usu mazim legimus placerat ne, has ei primis debitis expetenda. At mel habemus vivendum salutatus. Vim cu vitae erroribus omittantur, sea mentitum mandamus id. Ullum dicta aliquam duo ne, qualisque adolescens vix ne. Eum ei habeo eruditi. Cu nemore dolorem explicari duo.</div>

    But it doesn’t work.
I wish there was instructions on how to implement it – the jscrollpane information site is for people who know how to understand it – I’m a dummy. I just want to use it.

    Hi cornfeed,

I am stuck in much the same trouble,

I have checked all details above in my install

the wpjsp.js and wpjsp.css, and are both populated (although in the WP plugin editor they are both (inactive) )

my id is #scroll , and with the call as <div class=”scroll”>…</div>

the URL for the install is… https://theshoutbox.com.au/alexandrawhitaker/scroll

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong? Do I need to add further code elsewhere into my wordpress? Or is a straight forward plugin that simply uses… <div class=”idName”>body text etc etc</div> to function?…

As I mentioned earlier, previously the scrollpane setting have been created etc…

    please help

    Hey,

I’m having a little bit of trouble with the plugin again…

I’ve managed to get it working on area i wanted before, but have tried adding a new scrollpane in the settings and made sure it’s calling the right div, but i’m getting random problems with different browsers. On firefox it works fine, but on safari and chrome it either doesn’t allow you to scroll the whole content or just doesn’t appear!

The page i’m working on is here – https://nouvellelondon.com/londonvc/pin-board-2/

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sweet and sound, your issue is that some of the images in the content do not have the height and width specified in the code.

This is effecting the jquery scroll bar but not the normal browser generated scroll bar.

Ok, danbo, I have subscribed to this topic also now, sorry I missed you. I am very confused as to what you are trying to achieve….

danbo, start a new thread, I am marking this as resolved.

Thanks so much for your help fawkesblog2, that completely made sense!

I’ve started using the jscrolepane plugin for a new site now and am having trouble using it on a page that I’m using a tabs feature plugin for.

It seems that because the css for the tabs plugin isn’t part of the theme i’m using, the jscrolpane plugin doesn’t recognise the identifier, and it hides the content in the tabs if i use the same identifier as i have for all the other pages.

Do you know a way to use the jscrollplugin for plugins that appear on a page?

any help would be very much appreciated!!

I see what you are talking about. I am going to be busy all day. I will get to this tomorrow and let you know what I think.

Side note, I have started v2 and am doing a complete start from scratch, although it will still be similar, but with much more functionality.

    You’re a legend cornfeed. Cheers.

    I’ll have a poke s&s

Love how you rounded the corners and added the arrows sweet and sound. How did you do that?

I was wondering the same, that doesn’t come until version 2 ??

hehe, yep it’s a speciality I’ve been working on for a while :p

Do you know any way of sorting out this inner-page scroll problem? any help would be appreciated!!

I am busy for the holidays and will be picking back up after the 2nd. Sorry, family calls.
I will do my best to get to it as soon as I am back

Thanks again cornfeed for everything you do. Trust you have a wonderful holiday.

Another question i have if you get time is can i effect the browsers default scroll bar on right of screen with the plug in as in this example https://jscrollpane.kelvinluck.com/fullpage_scroll.html

I would love to have that for the blog.
