    Hi,

I suddenly started having problems with this plugin. I’m not very good with the technical aspects of all of this, so I’ll try to describe what happened and what I tried to fix it. As I’m just setting up a site, it’s not that big of a deal but I would like to understand what happened/what I did wrong.

I installed WP (latest as of today), set up a theme and installed wp-jquery-lightbox 1.3.3.
I published a few test posts and everything worked perfectly.
I then did a whole bunch of work on my site.
F.ex., I had to recreate the default WordPress .htaccess because I accidentally deleted it.
At some point, the plugin stopped working and a click on an image will now take me to an empty page with the larger version, just like before I installed the plugin.

    Trying to fix the problem.

As I’m not so good with all this WP stuff yet, I tried this:

I deactivated the plugin, deleted it via the WP Plugins page and made sure via FTP that all files were gone (Check).
I reinstalled the plugin via the WP Plugins page and set the options (Check)
      Still the same error.
I then deactivated all other plugins and tried again. Still the same error.

Lastly, I then checked the source code of the generated page with the image on it and looked for the link. This is what it looks like (I changed the domain name):

    <a href="https://aaa.com/wp-content/uploads/imagez789up09z.jpg" rel="lightbox[1530]"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-1531" title="imagez789up09z" src="https://livingwithmusic.com/wp-content/uploads/imagez789up09z-600x388.jpg" alt="imagez789up09z" width="600" height="388" /></a>

The link in the media manager to the image in my uploads folder works. The image is there, of course.

    Then I came here.

I’d appreciate any hints or help as where I would have to look for potential problems.

This is a wonderful plugin and I’m sure that I screwed something up when working/fixing my site after the plugin was installed.

Note: My site is currently in maintenance mode, but I could open it up if someone wants to have a look.

    My bad.
    Found the problem.

    I had deleted

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    Duh.

Please ignore my stupid post above.

    *embarrassed*
    *blush*

P.S.: At least I found the problem. ??

Thank’s for updating the thread and providing the solution. I’m sure it’ll help other users too.

    You’re welcome.

And thanks for a great (!) plugin that helps me keep a responsive layout, well, … responsive. ??
