• Hi, I have a hopefully simple question.

I have an image with several image maps (links). I want to link the image maps to lightbox images but I can’t seem to figure it out for all my trial and error.

An example of the code I have tried (and failed) imagelinks have been changed for simplicity.

    <area shape="circle" coords="152,92,7" href="/wp-content/uploads/imagename.jpg" rel="lightbox[2]" link="imagelink.jpg" alt=""></map>

If I include and image within the page it works fine (lightbox) but the image maps don’t love my code at all ??

    Any ideas?

  • WP jQuery Lighbox only deals with anchor tags. A workaround might be to float anchors above your image, like they do on flickr/bacefook/picasa etc. There ought to be tools our there to generate the CSS needed I’d think.
