I love the WP Help plugin and I’m creating a nice little documentation for a site that I’m building. Ideally, I’d like to be able to provide access to that same documentation in the Dashboard of other site’s on the same network?

So, can anyone out there think of an easy way to maybe build a plugin which would allow site-2 to view site-1’s WP Help documents? Or something I could place in the functions.php of the template so that all sites based on that template could access the master site’s WP Help documents?

Good news! The next version of the plugin, due out soon, allows you to “point” a WP Help instance to another WP Help instance, and “slurp in” all of its documents (you can still add documents that are specific to that site). This should work fine between two Multisite sites, but it will also work across the internet, for two completely unrelated installs (like if you manage a lot of separate client sites).

Fantastic, thanks Mark! That makes this plugin so much more useful to me.

Mark, version 1.0 is awesome. This really solves some important problems for me in a really elegant way. Thank you for your hard work.

I think I wouldn’t really be me, though, if I didn’t ask for something. ??

The posts which are synced to a site pulling from another site come through in a different order than the one I had set on the site doing the pushing. Oh, crap, just hijacked my own thread, sorry about that.
