• Hi,

I’d like to propose the following patch for the wp-greet-box plugin, which adds support for WPML, by registering the strings of the greeting messages into WPML, and therefore allowing translations (in other words, it allows you to have your greeting message in english on the english pages of your site, but also have it in another language in the other pages of your site, simply by translating it in WPML). The patch also adds a wp_greet_box which is very useful when you want to put your greeting message in one of your pages, without having to modify your theme file. Obviously, comments are welcome.

    To download the patch:
    https://public.viguierjust.com/wp-greet-box_localization.diff

To apply it (note that the patch is based on wp-greet-box v6.0.9), go to the wp-greet-box directory, copy the wp-greet-box_localization.diff file inside the directory, and type the following command (under Linux):
    patch -p0 -i wp-greet-box_localization.diff
