  • Country may be optional, but I think you do always need to at least add a city.

hmm i think should check some other plugin which pull weather report for visitor/user location

yep, the country is optional. you need at least a city to specify the weather location.
the two letter code is used to specify the output language of the weather information.

there is not auto-detection for user weather built in yet.

ok i got it, i thought it is auto-detection

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: simplexml_load_string() in /home/content/d/w/w/dww1928/html/_sites/bigsqueeze/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-weather/wp-google-weather.php on line 164

I am running 2.8.4 and get following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-google-weather\wp-google-weather.php on line 151

    Any suggestion

    Thanks

I am running 2.8.6 and get following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\wamp\www\test\wp-content\plugins\wp-google-weather\wp-google-weather.php on line 151

    Thanks

    eric

FYI, the undefined function error is (probably) if your site is on PHP4 as simpleXML came into play with PHP5

Hi, I’m getting the same error with this plugin –
    “Call to undefined function: simplexml_load_string()”

Running WordPress 2.9.1 but on a PHP5 database (not 4 – I just upgraded this morning) hosted by 1and1. Perhaps I should upgrade to WP3.0 but not sure if that will fix it?

    Thanks

hmm i think should check some other plugin which pull weather report for visitor/user location.

    thanks,
